Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of producTinder at productinder.app (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

producTinder is a community platform where verified Product Hunt makers can match with one another and exchange genuine support — such as authentic upvotes and honest feedback — for their Product Hunt launches. producTinder is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Product Hunt.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and have a genuine, active Product Hunt account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Every account is manually reviewed. We may approve, reject, suspend, or revoke access at our discretion — for example, if we cannot verify the authenticity of your Product Hunt profile.
• One account per person. Duplicate, fake, or impersonating accounts are not allowed.

3. Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree that you will not:

• Use fake, purchased, bot, or impersonating Product Hunt accounts, or otherwise misrepresent who you are.
• Provide false proof of support, or claim support you did not genuinely give.
• Harass, abuse, spam, or harm other members.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or the rules and guidelines of Product Hunt.

4. Credits

• Credits are a virtual, in-platform balance used to match with and support other makers’ launches. New members receive a number of free starter credits upon approval, and additional credits can be purchased.
• Credits have no cash value, are not a currency or stored-value instrument, and are non-transferable except as offered within the Service.
• We may adjust how credits are earned, priced, or spent. Refunds for purchased credits are governed by our Refund Policy.

5. Payments and billing

Credit purchases are sold and processed by Lemon Squeezy, acting as our Merchant of Record. By purchasing, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy’s terms. Prices are shown at checkout and may change over time. Refunds are handled as described in our Refund Policy.

6. No guaranteed results

producTinder helps makers connect and support one another, but we do not guarantee any specific outcome — including any number of upvotes, ranking, visibility, traffic, or growth on Product Hunt or elsewhere. Results depend on other members and on factors outside our control.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as project details, messages, and proof screenshots). You grant us a limited license to host and display that content as needed to operate the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share anything you upload.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that harms the community. Purchased credits that remain unused at termination are subject to our Refund Policy.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, producTinder will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
